What is the GoKnight.com return policy? How do I process a return? How long will it take until my money is refunded?
You may return most new, unopened items within 60 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
Please note that microphones can only be returned if they have not been used. However, all Audio Technica products include a 30-day trial period. So if you purchase an Audio-Technica product (including microphones) you can return the item for a full refund if returned within 30 days of purchase.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Why are microphones which have been used non-returnable?
Here is a very important update to our policies. All Audio-Technica products, including microphones, are returnable for a full refund if returned within 30 days. This is due to Audio-Technica's 30 day evaluation policy.
Microphones can not be returned if the package has been opened and the product has been used. Please inspect all microphones carefully upon receipt to make sure that microphone will work for your application. If the microphone will not fit your application, and it is has not been used, then the microphone can be returned to us for a full refund. However, if the microphone has been used, then it is a non-returnable item. This policy is in effect because returned microphones can not be sold again to a new buyer for health and sanitation reasons.
Who pays for return shipping to return the product to GoKnight.com?
Currently, the buyer is responsible for the cost of the return shipping for an item that they would like to return to GoKnight.com. If you feel that your case is "exceptional" for some reason, then please contact us so that we can discuss the cost of return shipping.
What if I received the wrong item?
If you have been shipped an item which is not the item that you ordered, then GoKnight.com will pay for the return shipping on the erroneously shipped item and will also offer you a 5% credit on the order that you did originally place. The 5% credit is offered in appreciation for your return of the incorrectly shipped item to GoKnight.com and will be applied when we receive in the incorrectly shipped item. We will also expedite the shipment of your original order to you so as not to create any unnecessary delays in order arrival.
